WZ Engineering, LLC is a full-service engineering and consulting firm specializing in building mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection system designs. Our focus on quality and responsiveness is our first concern! We are committed to the needs of the customer guaranteeing a highly experienced engineer working directly on each stage of the project from start to finish.
WZ Engineering was established in 2007 by Bill and Zeidi Zastrow with a base in Sugar Grove, Illinois (west of Chicago). Collectively, they bring over 25 years of engineering experience to fulfill the needs of a client base including architects, contractors, building owners and the State of Illinois.
WZ Engineering is registered in Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Oklahoma and Arizona.

WHAT WE DO
• Complete analysis of heating, air conditioning, ventilation, plumbing, fire protection and electrical system needs.
• In new building design, provide comprehensive design drawings with an eye on energy efficiency while consciously providing the customer with a design that will increase the overall value of the building.
• In existing building design, review and analyze existing building surveys and reports providing recommendations for energy efficient modifications, life cycle cost improvements and repairs/upgrades that are economically justified.
• All services include all contract drawings and specifications provided for complete bid packages. Clients can be assured that all code compliance will be followed (NEC, NFPA, IBC, IEC, BOCA, LEED, state and local codes).
• Financial cost analysis including probable cost reports.
• Coordination of project design development with architects, structural and civil engineers as well all additional suppliers necessary in completion of the project.
• Construction supervision including review of shop drawings, site observations and meetings through project close-out.
• Miscellaneous services including computer-aided design and drafting services.
